Iris Horowitz practices in the field of matrimonial and family law representing clients seeking legal counsel for all aspects of this specialty including divorce, pre nuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements, post nuptial agreements, separation agreements, custody, child support, spousal support, equitable distribution, real estate issues, domestic violence cases, orders of protection, enforcement and modification of Court Orders and Judgments.
Ms. Horowitz graduated cum laude from New York University where she was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She received her JD from the School of Law at Hofstra University and has been admitted to practice law in New York since 1992. She also has practiced in Federal Courts.
She is a member of the New York Bar Association,New York Association of Collaborative Professionals and the Nassau County Bar Association, and serves as a member of the Matrimonial Law Committee and the Alternate dispute Resolution Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association. Ms. Horowitz has served as an evaluator on the Nassau County Early Evaluation Program for matrimonial clients and is currently a Mediator on the Nassau County Bat Association Dispute Resolution Panel.
